Handmade Live Edge Black Walnut Blue Resin Desk - One Of A Kind. Absolutely gorgeous piece of workmanship!
Stunning handmade Black Walnut desk with metallic blue resin in-fills. Originally built to hold an 88 key piano keyboard on one side with a laptop/work station on the other side. It has no middle leg to stop you from rolling sideways. Can also be used as a 3 person desk or large impressive reception station.
It can be used as a masculine home office desk, or music station. It fits perfectly as a foyer side bar, with ample drawer space. Modern design, the possibilities for use are boundless. Dimensions: 84" x 25" x 30H. The front, sitting side of the desktop is the same piece as the back wall side of the desk, cut from the same tree and mirrored and swapped on the desktop.
The desktop also has a 5 waterfall continuous grain from the same pieces of wood on each side. Drawer handles are solid brass powder coated matte black.
The legs are matte black stainless steel 4 square tubes, and easily bolt onto the desktop. The three drawer faces were constructed from a single continuous piece of Black Walnut, so the grain is seamless between the three, see photos for reference. Only the best quality Blum drawer slides were used in the construction, so the drawers are ball bearing smooth, full extension, and soft close. There is a single small blemish on the desktop, which can easily be repaired by a competent woodworker, see photo with pencil for size reference. There may be other imperceptibly small scratches across the top from sliding papers, but no other blemish larger than the point of a pin. The drawer face was not affected at all. A replacement drawer box is included in the sale free of charge. The drawer slide can be replaced optionally, but continues to function fully as shown in photographs.
